01 / THE NAME

A name made to travel.

Origin Yūrei 幽霊 / spirit
Distilled Yrei four letters
Home yrei.dev one identity

A little mysterious. A little playful. Entirely mine.

— 鬼鬼Sama

Yrei is a compact digital identity distilled from yūrei, the Japanese word for spirit. It carries forward my longtime nickname, 鬼鬼Sama, without turning it into a costume.

Removing the u leaves four letters that move easily between languages, source code, and the open web. It is less a conventional English name than a durable signature.

02 / PRACTICE

The work between layers.

I work across the connection between interface and infrastructure: designing the screen, tracing the request, and keeping deployment understandable.

03 / PRINCIPLES

A quiet operating system.

  1. 01

    Own the important parts.

I choose portable formats, direct connections, and systems I can move without asking permission.

  2. 02

    Show the consequential choices.

I hide routine machinery, not decisions about data, security, cost, or control.

  3. 03

    Stay after release.

I treat maintenance, migration paths, and honest constraints as part of the product.

04 / CONTACT
